Job Purpose
To lead the requirements and scope of projects and programs and to support the development of and the quality of solution options.Key Accountabilities
To be responsible for delivery of all solution architecture activities across a program of work.

Leads development of solution architectures, ensuring consistency with specified requirements agreed with both external and internal customers.

To take full responsibility for ensuring that solution architectures balance functional, service quality and systems management requirements.

To ensure that appropriate standards are adhered to, meeting the program's target design, policies and standards, working proactively to achieve a stable and viable design.

Communicates the technical design of a significant program and the rationale driving that design within the architecture and wider community.

Co-ordinates design activity within a program, acting as custodian of plans for the infrastructure.

Takes responsibility for the technical integrity of projects, ensuring that common technical elements are recognized, and that work is not unnecessarily duplicated. Assists in the development of service level agreements and any associated service guarantees.

Advises on appropriate quality standards and quality control processes. Attends quality reviews as appropriate.Supervisory/Interpersonal- Experience Required

Qualifications
Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business, or a related field

Solution architecture, design, and delivery. At least 5 years full life cycle experience (vision to production) in an architect's role delivering medium to large solutions.

Data and information architecture, design, and implementation. At least 2 years full life cycle experience (vision to production) delivering

a. Conceptual, logical, physical data/information models using techniques or patterns that include normalized entity-relationship diagrams (ERDs), dimensional models
b. People, process, and technology models for data governance, notably around master data, data quality, and stewardship

Integration architecture, design, and implementation. At least 2 years full life cycle experience (vision to production) that take advantage of

a. One or more custom or off-the-shelf middleware
b. Technical architecture and design patterns

Security and access control. At least 2 years full life cycle experience delivering secure and trusted systems with at least the following features:

a. Authentication, including multi-factor authentication (MFA)
b. Authorization, OAuth, and SAML-based authorization, for example
c. Single Sign-On (SSO)

Programming and application development. At least 3 years full life cycle experience (vision to production) in two or more programming or markup language that include Apex, SOQL, JavaScript, Java, HTML, CSS, SQL, PHP, Asp.Net, C#, C++

Software development methods and practices. At least 5 years using the following:

a. Agile and traditional methodologies for the full project life cycle (vision to production)
b. Version control
c. Release and deployment automation

Software architecture, design, and development standards. Hands-on experience using any of the following to create specifications and blueprints intended to drive software development:

d. UML
e. Entity Relationship Diagrams
f. BPMN
g. RAML
h. XSD
