Job Description:

A company is looking for a Mortgage Underwriter - Temp Position (Remote - US).
Key Responsibilities

Underwrites mortgage loan files in compliance with guidelines and regulations
Reviews loan data for integrity and monitors the mortgage pipeline for efficiency
Collaborates with vendors and supports management requests related to audits and reporting

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or related field preferred
Minimum of four years of experience in a credit union, bank, or financial institution
Detailed knowledge of secondary market guidelines and some regulatory knowledge
Compliance with Mortgage Loan Originator requirements under the SAFE Act
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with loan origination systems
