Knowledge and Skills:
- Must possess excellent verbal and written skills.
- Must be able to communicate successfully with a variety of
disciplines and levels, both internal and external staff.
- Must pass exam for communication electronic
- Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
- Must have electronics training. Prefer AAS Electrical
- Prefer at least 2 years of electronics communications
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Must possess valid driver's license.Key
Accountabilities:Maintenance, repair, and installation of data and
voice circuit electronics.
- Digital Carrier Systems,
- LED Signs
- Alarm Systems
- Additional responsibilities include the installation,
maintenance, adjustment, repair, and replacement of PA systems,
PBX, and cable plant.
- Repair and replacement of system components as
required.Maintenance, repair, and installation of communications
PTC related components.
- Wayside and Onboard Radios
- Cienna SwitchesAdditional Statements:Drug and alcohol
screening: Employment contingent upon passing pre-employment drug
and alcohol screen. Also, contingent upon receiving a favorable
