Job Description Role Description We are looking for a hands-on individual to help us develop our core technology by contributing to our prototype assembly and lab organization. In this role, individuals will work directly with senior technicians, alongside our engineering team, to spend time in the laboratory building, troubleshooting, and maintaining cell builds. The ideal candidate will be able to master existing processes while proactively seeking out new methods to assist technical development. What You---ll Do Inspect, organize and prepare device components and hardware Complete work from various teams adhering to individual timelines Learn to document and organize device assembly notes for performance traceability Maintain laboratory conditions in a fashion that facilities cleanliness and productivity for other lab users Manage parts inventories for standard builds Track equipment and PM schedules using a cloud based organizational tool Facilitate installation and assembly of new equipment Be mentored by experienced Sr Build Technicians with decades of experience What We---re Looking For Interest working on electrochemical testing in a research laboratory setting Experience doing electrical and mechanical work Strong sense of patience and safety in a hazardous environment Familiarity with cloud based organizational tools Strong communication skills within a group of peers and broader organization Characteristics Enjoys a fast paced work style Self-motivator willing to follow projects to completion with minimal prompting Positive attitude and appetite to learn and grow within our organization Willingness to share ideas to contribute to organizational and technical problem solving At Form Energy, We are working toward a 100% renewable energy future for everyone in the world.
