Global Risk Solutions North America is building a brand-new Knowledge Management team with a clear vision: to help our underwriters more easily find the information they need to do their jobs. Collectively, the team will be responsible for managing all aspects of our knowledge management program, including establishing new content strategies, coordinating with stakeholders that create content, and overseeing successful migration to a new knowledge management platform. The Business Analyst will report directly to the Assistant Director, Knowledge Management and will be responsible for creating and maintaining knowledge management reports. Under general direction from the Asst. Director, the Business Analyst will work as a part of a team to determine what is needed to deliver an exceptional user experience and ensure that content is relevant, accurate, and engaging for all users. We are looking for someone that is excited to join this team early and participate in building the foundation for our knowledge management program. **This is a ranged posting. Level of position offered will be at manager discretion based on skills and experience.** Responsibilities:

  • Research, identify, and partner with appropriate stakeholders to design, document, and publish new or enhanced processes and protocols for front-line Underwriting and Operations employees
  • Conduct systems analytics to maximize effectiveness and troubleshoot problems
  • Investigate, analyze, and maintain an effective change control process to ensure all content is relevant and compliant to policy, procedures, and standards
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest processes and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems
  • Create, run, and maintain reports to ensure that knowledge management solutions meet business needs and requirements
  • Effectively communicate data, insights, and plans to cross-functional team members and management and propose solutions, when applicable
  • Contribute to the definition of best practices for various channels/mediums
  • Under general direction, apply content strategy methods (e.g., writing, editing, content management, content analysis and optimization, information architecture, conversation design, SEO)
  • Work independently or serve as a lead on projects of moderate complexity
  • Systematically seek and integrate user feedback to improve business and customer outcomes Preferred experience includes:
    • As typically acquired through a Bachelor`s degree in Business, Computer Science or related field and 5+ years of experience in a related field
    • Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and research skills
    • Strong attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
    • Practical experience generating process documentation and reports
    • Strong working knowledge of relevant Microsoft applications, including Power BI
    • Extensive experience with data visualization and translating data into actionable insights
    • Highly proficient technical writing capabilities
    • Strong relationship building and collaboration skills
    • Experience participating and/or leading large, cross-functional content initiatives from ideation through implementation
      • Displays strong research, problem solving, analytical, critical thinking, influencing, relationship management, and presentation skills.
      • Strong business operations knowledge to include understanding the function's value chain and market conditions.
      • Solid ability to support change and impart value within an organization.
      • Solid project management skills as part of implementing business process changes.
      • Strong knowledge of available data sources, strengths and shortcomings.
      • May also be relevant based on the particular needs of the position
      • Advanced knowledge of Excel and solid knowledge of database software.
      • Solid knowledge of business intelligence tools preferred.
      • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in addition to 5+ years of relevant experience to include business analysis work.
