Job Description:
The Program Delivery team within Product Delivery accurately and
efficiently executes on implementation of complex new business
pricing programs across all lines of business through pricing,
product, and process expertise. The Program Delivery team is
looking for a Sr. Analyst or Consultant that will lead the
development and execution of the newest Safeco Umbrella product.
This position offers the opportunity to partner across product
teams to deliver the latest specialty rating program into market
countrywide. There will be dotted line managerial duties across our
pool of Program Delivery contractors to help execute the program.
This position offers the opportunity to be a key contributor to
support GRM US profit and growth goals and help support current and
future pricing programs. *Please note this is a range posting for a
grade 15-16, level will be based on experience. In this role you
will:
Act as the lead project manager in
supporting Personal Lines SAF Umbrella development and
implementation Lead cross-functional product delivery workstreams
such as Requirements, Data, Dislocation/Calibration and
Distribution communication with minimal directionProvide conceptual
and technical support to partners who support in the execution of
the implementationLead in the development of analytical tools and
queries where applicableDevelop clear and repeatable processes that
can be executed by other analysts with varying level of
expertisePotential opportunity to support complex Personal Lines
Auto program rolloutsWe are looking for a candidate who has:
Bachelor's degree in business,
economics, or other quantitative field.Minimum 4 years, typically 6
years or more relevant work experience.Proficient in Excel,
PowerPoint, and data analysis software (e.g., SAS, Access).Must
have strong analytical, quantitative and problem solving skills,
including ability to leverage skills to influence others across GRM
ProductMust have strong planning, organization, and communication
skills.Leadership and Program Delivery experience is
beneficial.Deep knowledge of data sources, tools, and the business
Additional responsibilities may include:
- Conducts moderate complexity analysis under minimal
supervision.
- Sets up and runs simple loss and demand models with substantial
support from experienced analysts.
- Contributes to the underlying analysis on projects important to
the SBU.
- Queries data to conduct ad hoc analysis of metrics.
- Provides recommendations on the appropriate tools and
techniques to perform analysis.
- Serves as team member on medium-term or moderate complexity
projects.
- May occasionally lead own workstream.
- Pulls data on competitor actions through available
sources.
- Serves as ad hoc resource for less experienced analysts.
- May, under supervision, conduct analysis to evaluate and
implement vendor products.
- Bachelor's degree in mathematics, economics, statistics, or
other quantitative field.
- Minimum 2 year's relevant experience, typically 3 years.
- Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and statistical software
packages (e.g., SAS, Emblem).
- Must have good planning, organizational, analytical, decision
