Knowledge and Skills:Excellentwriting skillsStrong interpersonal skillsBasic computer and networking skillsAbility to communicate successfully with a variety of disciplines and levels, with both internal and external staffExperience:Must have at least 2 years of electronics communications experienceMust possess high school diploma or have equivalent experienceMust have electronics trainingMust possess valid driver's licenseKey Accountabilities:Maintenance, repair, and installation of data and voice circuit electronics which include:PBX System (Programming, telephones POTS/VIOP)Digital Carrier (T1, T3, ETC)Network (cell/wireless/wired/microwave ECT)CCTV (analog, IP)Alarm SystemsDoor Access SystemsCommunication Cabling (coaxial, fiber, cat5, cat6, serial (RS232/RS485), Fiber Optic (singlemode/multimode, Fusion splicing)LED Sign SystemMaintenance, repair, and installation of communications PTC related components which includes:Wayside and Onboard RadiosCienna SwitchesFiber OpticsAssociated CablingRepair and replacement of system components as requiredAdditional Statements:Drug and alcohol screening:Employment contingent upon passing pre-employment drug and alcohol screen.
