Job Description:
POSITION OVERVIEW:
The IT Help Desk Technician is the primary conduit between our user
community and the IT Department. The ideal candidate must be
adaptable and possess excellent customer service, effective written
and verbal communication skills, and develop trustworthy and
reliable relationships with employees, vendors and guests. They
will combine these skills with proven technical ability and a
willingness to learn and function as part of a team to successfully
execute their job functions. Organizational skills, attention to
detail, time/priority management, and self-motivation are also
vital for success in this role.
RESPONSIBILITIES Monitor IT Help Desk queue and resolve Level I and
II Help Desk tickets in accordance with current Help Desk SLA
policies
Complete IT tasks for employee Onboards/Offboard/Job Changes,
including PC imaging/configuration
Administration tasks in Active Directory, Office 365
Order equipment (mobile devices, computers, other electronics as
needed) and reconcile expenses
Administer Enterprise apps and services, such as Cloud Storage,
Mobile Device Portal, Adobe
Serve as IT Manager on Duty throughout the baseball season, on
average two games per month, including some
Contribute documentation or instructional materials to our growing
knowledge base
CHARACTERISITICS / QUALIFICATIONS 2 or 4 year college degree in an
IT-related discipline or 1-2 years help desk experience
required
Proficiency with PC hardware and Windows 10 troubleshooting a
must
Proficiency with MacOS device hardware/OS strongly preferred
Proficiency with Active Directory and Exchange strongly
preferred
Must possess a basic understanding of wired/Wi-Fi networks and
troubleshooting
Proficiency with config and troubleshooting of iOS devices a must;
Android proficiency a plus
Familiarity with conference room technology solutions a plus
Experience with the following apps is highly beneficial:
AirWatch/VMWare Workspace One
SCCM
SolarWinds/N-Able
ServiceNow
Adobe Creative Cloud Admin
AD Manager
Cloud Storage Administration (DropBox, OneDrive, Box)
Okta basic administration
Zoom platform admin (meeting, room and phone admin)
The Red Sox (or FSM) requires proof of being up-to-date on COVID-19
