Job Description
The Vertex Co-op Program offers students a hands-on opportunity to learn about the pharmaceutical industry. Co-ops will engage in challenging projects, connect with peers, and interact with organizational leaders.
Job Summary
HEMA Logistics manages end-to-end material movements, ensuring timely delivery while maintaining temperature control, security, and compliance for commercial and clinical studies.
The role involves data cleansing of the Trade Management system and conducting E2E interviews with SMEs to map shipment activities related to Cell Gene and Therapy materials. There may also be opportunities to collaborate with the Validation team on commercial packaging systems for BLA filings.
Key Responsibilities

• Conduct interviews with internal and external stakeholders in logistics operations.
  
• Shadow team members to learn D2D operations.
  
• Develop and execute a logistics performance and customer satisfaction survey, analyze data, and prepare presentations.
  
• Perform data cleansing of Trade Management inputs and create shipment timelines.
  
• Potentially liaise with the Validation team regarding packaging systems for BLA.
  
  Qualifications

• Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
  
• Ability to work independently and in teams.

• Experience with project coordination.
  
• Bachelor's degree in a scientific, business, or related field.
  
• Typically 1 year of experience or equivalent education.
  
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
  
• Enrolled in an advanced degree program if graduating before July 2025.
  
• Availability to work full-time (40 hours/week) from July to December 2025.
  
  Compensation & Benefits
  Pay Range: $20.00 - $35.00 USD/hour
  This is a temporary role through a third-party agency, with compensation and benefits provided by the agency. The actual pay rate depends on various factors including skills and experience.
