Our team specializes in providing evaluation and treatment for feeding difficulties related to a variety of factors including medical, psychosocial, sensory, and skill-based needs. We are also leaders in providing orofacial myology evaluation and treatment as well as pre and post frenectomy care. Occupational Therapist Part Time /n Do you have experience in therapy and want to work for a company that actively improves the lives of the individuals it serves? In the Occupational Therapist role, you will be a crucial part of our commitment to serve others by providing quality service delivery through the evaluation and testing of program participants and the development of effective treatment plans for each individual. /n /n - Administer innovative treatment programs to program participants and communicate treatment needs to appropriate staff; provide re-evaluation and programmatic changes as necessary /n - Set up appropriate home exercise programs for participants /n - Maintain timely and appropriate program participant documentation including the report of services; complete weekly schedule requests to meet OT goals of staff/program participants and submit it to supervisor /n - Serve on rehabilitation treatment team(s), including attending team meetings, attending conferences, etc. /n - Attend departmental meetings for program development and establishing effective systems of operations team enhancement; attend training or seminars yearly to update knowledge and skills /n - Collaborate with physicians, staff, professionals/paraprofessionals, consultants, families, and community resources to ensure effectiveness of occupational therapy program /n - Provide/Participate in in-service programs in areas of expertise for OT and all of CCS staff as requested /n - Participate in the maintenance of targeted departmental budget and monitoring of equipment Adhere to Service Monitoring System (SMS) standards for department, accreditation and licensure standards, and ethics of confidentiality /n /n Qualifications: /n /n - Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy and one year of human services experience /n - One year of experience in neuro-rehabilitation preferred /n - Must be licensed OT/L in state and a member in good standing with AOTA /n - May require heavy work; may exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up-to 50 pounds of force frequently /n - Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task /n - Exceptional communication skills with an ability to establish trust and rapport quickly /n - A good listener with an ability to empathize while still providing guidance /n - A reliable, responsible attitude and a compassionate approach /n - A commitment to quality in everything you do /n /n Why Join Us? /n /n - Full compensation/benefits package for full-time employees. /n - 401(k) with company match /n - Paid time off and holiday pay /n - Complex work adding value to the organization’s mission alongside a great team of co-workers /n - Enjoy job security with nationwide career development and advancement opportunities /n /n We have meaningful work for you – come join our team – Apply Today! /n /n /n Sevita is a leading provider of home and community-based specialized health care.
