Summary:Exciting opportunity to provide new models of care for
walk-in/urgent care access including days, evenings and weekends.
The new CHA CBHC Malden program provides behavioral health
evaluation, resource referral, and initial treatment services for
individuals of all ages. The Supervisor, Social Work provides
day-to-day coordination and oversight of the staff in the CBHC,
reporting to the Program Manager of the CBHC Urgent Care and the
Director of Urgent Care/Access Services. Runs team huddles and
meetings as needed, performs triage, assigns cases and monitors
caseloads, is the point person for clinical and administrative
issues that arise on the team (such as Section 12), is responsible
for clinical oversight of team patients, and provides handoff to
the Program Manager on patient and staff issues. Acts as a liason
with the Mobile Crisis Intervention Team and Psychiatric Emergency
Service when in the supervisory role. The Supervisor, Social Worker
functions as a clinical social worker in the service, providing
evaluation and treatment services for patients. Qualifications:
Masters degree in Social Work Licensure: Current MA licensure as
LICSW (Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker) Physical
Skills: Successful completion of physical agility assessment. Acute
Service experience is strongly preferred When required, must be
credentialed by the CHA Medical Staff for practice in relevant
clinical practice areas, such as youth/child treatment, individual,
couple, family, or group psychotherapy. Work Experience: Minimum of
three years post masters degree, in clinical or human service
setting with relevant populations In keeping with federal, state
